We just got back from camping for two weeks in Hidden Valley, and it was incredible! although I missed being able to contact everyone from home it was really cool to have two weeks to focus just on my relationship with God and building relationships with everyone else up there.
Something that God has been challenging me on in the last few weeks is being faithful in the small. It is incredible to be able to learn practical ways to hear and obey God every single day, and to learn that my actions and the way I live my life speak so much louder than my words.
It was so amazing to also see God working in the lives of all my friends as well.

While we were up there, it rained...a lot. We have enough food for a couple of days at a time stored and then the staff make a trip down the mountain every couple of days to stock up, however the first week it was raining so much that the bridge flooded. And so we all prayed a lot, and it was really cool to see how God really did hear. One of the things we prayed was that God would provide a solution for us, and not just in the way we expect.
Then one of our leaders bumped into a local from the area and they told us about another roundabout way that we had no idea about! It was a bit rougher, but luckily one of the staff up there had a 4WD so we were able to get down.

| Our campsite |
On Sunday morning me and a team of 15 of us are heading out to The tablelands and Cairns for three weeks for our mini outreach. Pretty much we will be spending three weeks, doing anything from playing sport and having free bbqs for backpackers in Carins to painting houses at the tablelands, with the goal of showing God's love by loving people like only he can.
